The three measurements to take first

  1. Rear-seat width: measure the usable width across the rear-seat area from side to side.
  2. Usable depth: measure the rear-seat cushion and the travel area available between the rear seat and the front seats in your normal driving position.
  3. Rear footwell area: measure the gap the extender needs to bridge, including the distance and shape of the open footwell.

Then check the details that can affect fit

  • Front-seat position: measure with the driver and passenger seats where they normally sit.
